Color Game Boy 2 ('Advantage')

At the recent Spaceworld exhibition in Japan, Nintendo announced the latest model of its age old handheld range the Game Boy. This new console is sure to reinforce Nintendo's stronghold on the handheld market and for good reason: The spec would be more at home in a full blown console, (see box out below.)

The system is now in the less familiar GameGear style orientation, (Game Boy turned around 90*) for a more

 comfortable playing position and we expect its release to coincide with the forthcoming Dolphin System. Hopefully this will mean tight integration with information being exchanged via a high speed com. port.

Nintendo has also announced a project with Konami for its forthcoming handheld. The two companies have created a system called Mobile21 which hopes to bring live video conferencing to the Game Boy. This could mean Internet access on your pocket pal, (browse the web with your Game Boy anyone?)
